Facets Kids Film Camp gives kids a real foundation in the technique, language and process of film making. Using expert instruction, professional filmmakers and respected critics involve kids in what it takes to understand and create a film, from conception to final cut.

For over 10 years, Facets Kids Film Camp gives kids who LOVE movies a chance to understand filmmaking from behind the scenes. Instruction includes:
- The basics of filmmaking techniques, including camera angles, shots, lighting, sound recording, acting style, screenwriting, storyboarding, directing and film vocabulary.
- A foundation in film theory and criticism.
- Dozens of hands-on activities including: storyboarding, screenwriting, acting, writing reviews and making a movie.

Half day session receive a snack; full-day sessions receive a snack and lunch.
