The New York City landmark has provided temporary residences for bohemians, creative types, and outcasts alike, including Janis Joplin, Sid Vicious, Bob Dylan, and many a Warhol superstar. The Chelsea sees more suits and tourists these days, but, according to Chelsea on the Rocks, this is not necessarily a bad thing--it's just Manhattan.
