Description
17-year-old Dorian (Michael McMillian) is an outcast at school, and at home he plays second fiddle to his football hero brother (Lea Coco). The teen's troubles are compounded as he slowly comes to the realization that he's gay--a revelation that doesn't go over well with his fanatically conservative father (Steven Charles Fletcher). Their rift causes Dorian to flee downstate to NYU, where he begins a bumpy relationship and struggles with his newfound freedom. "Deftly juggles wry comedy and wrenching drama" (
The Onion
).
Tennyson Bardwell---USA---2004---88 mins.
