The folks at Everything Is Terrible! return with another hour-long frappuccino of kitschy VHS goodness, this time with something approaching a plot, although I'm laughing too hard to describe it. It involves racist rabbits, perfect killing machines, self-pleasuring beefcakes, and the revelation of a secret Christian plot to zombify the world's children with a religious robot. "Simultaneously enlightening, hilarious, and deeply sad" (The Onion AV Club).

Former child evangelist Marjoe Gortner gave up a profitable career in that       field to star in films that were favorites of neither the critics nor the        movie-going public. Movies like this one. Marjoe is an everyman who gets mixed   up in a dangerous drug-smuggling scheme in Hawaii. In an attempt to appeal to  the '70s drug culture, the movie was played as a double-feature with Cheech    and Chong's Up in Smoke in some theaters. Certainly, a little bit of     altered consciousness will add to the enjoyment of this time-waster.             Burt Brinckerhoff---USA---1978---105 mins.

Try to keep your pants from coming off and your mind from expanding when         watching this pair of drugged-up freak-out films. Produced by exploitation       trailblazer David F. Friedman, The Acid Eaters (Byron Mabe, 1968, 65       mins.) is an utterly insane drug culture comedy, boasting nude body painting,  violent catfights, death by quicksand, a visit to Hell, a giant LSD pyramid,   pre-Hee Haw hay field burlesque bits, and rampant psychedelia. As the title indicates, there is a sharp divide between this film's stated       mission to show "the blood splattered legacy of colonialism in Africa" and the   sheer exploitation value of blood splattering. But what would you expect from    the makers of Mondo Cane? The film's main selling point is footage of    some of the stranger, more physically unpleasant of primitive traditions,      although there may have been more material concerning colonialism in the       full-length version, Africa Addido, which runs some 140 minutes.
