Eleven films from the bespectacled actor who ranks alongside Charlie Chaplin     and Buster Keaton as one of the most popular and influential comedians of the    silent era. Includes Speedy (Ted Wilde, 1928, 86 mins.), Lloyd's final     silent, in which the actor plays a baseball fan whose love of the sport        regularly gets him into hot water. Features breathtaking location shooting and a memorable cameo by Babe Ruth. Hot Water (Fred Newmeyer & Sam Taylor,   1924, 60 mins.) stars Lloyd as an earnest young newlywed in a comedy that        brims with memorable slapstick moments. Movie Crazy (Clyde Bruckman,     1932, 96 mins.) is one of Lloyd's most beloved sound films. The actor plays a  semi-fictional version of himself in the story of an aspiring movie star who   abandons the Midwest for the bright lights of Hollywood. For Heaven's         Sake (Sam Taylor, 1926, 58 mins.) is a clever and entertaining silent       feature in which Lloyd stars as a young spendthrift who falls in love with a   minister's daughter (Jobyna Ralston). MILKY WAY / KID DYNAMITE
Our Price: $14.95

Leo McCarey's The Milky Way (1936, 89 mins.) kicks off a terrific double   bill of boxing comedies. Silent comedy hero Harold Lloyd stars as Burleigh       Sullivan, a milkman who unwittingly drums up press when a pair of boxing         champs are found passed out, presumably after double-teaming him in a drunken  melee. It isn't long before Burleigh's been roped into a cash-making scheme to put him in the ring, but he's got a long way to go before he can even make it  through a single round. Lloyd's performance is arguably his best in any          talkie, and one of the funniest of the 1930s. The East Side Kids round out the bill with Kid Dynamite (1943, 73 mins.), a slapstick romp about a        fighter's involvement in some very tricky business.                            Leo McCarey/Wallace Fox---USA---1936, 1943---162 mins.
