Eleven short films by eleven renowned filmmakers from around the world           comprise this monumental cinematic response to the September 11, 2001            terrorist attacks. The awkward title refers to the DVD transfer format (compatible with most,       though not all DVD players), but this is really a wonderful collection for       film history buffs. Edgar Kennedy was one of the most prolific comic actors in movie history         appearing in hundreds of short films. Generally acknowledged as the master of    the slow burn, his hilarious antics are captured in this DVD of four comic       shorts. In Mother-in-Law's Day (Hal Yates, USA, 1945, 18 mins.) Edgar    strapped with a shrewish wife, a lazy brother-in-law, and a spiteful creature  he calls his mother-in-law. After he giving his in-laws the boot, his boss,    thinking Edgar is still accommodating them and giving him a raise, wants to      meet the two. In Contest Crazy (Hal Yates, USA, 1948, 17 mins.), Edgar's wife Florence (Florence Lake) wins a contest. Unfortunately, Edgar works for   the contest's sponsor, threatening her winnings.
