In this dystopic animated film set in an oil-depleted, super-polluted Europe of 2024, a Swedish office drone (voiced by Vincent Gallo) is becoming increasingly paranoid. A voice in his head stokes suspicions about his meaningless job, the girl of his dreams (Juliette Lewis), the subway system that ferries people from town to town, and the corporations that control it all. Though there are hints of A Scanner Darkly and Brazil at work, the animation style employed by director Tarik Saleh is unique, especially the characters' exaggerated, almost-alien heads.
