Some forty years after adventure seekers Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins made an expedition to Patagonia, Jeff Johnson was inspired to make the same trek. With filmmaker Chris Malloy in tow, Johnson rides mammoth waves, almost gets stranded on Easter Island, prepares to climb Cerro Corcovado, and meets his idols, who are now more concerned with protecting nature than besting it.
