Considered one of the best recent examples of Japanese "pink" cinema (sex        films with a higher degree of ambition), The Bedroom is as bizarre as it   is explicit.  At an S&M brothel known as The Bedroom, the prostitutes are kept   on a powerful hallucinatory drug as the customers do as they please. When the  women of the club begin to get killed and mutilated, prostitute Kyoto          investigates to find the dark truth. Adding to the disturbing nature of the    film is a cameo appearance by Kazumasa Sagawa, who, during his years as a        foreign exchange student, was arrested for the murder and cannibalization of   his girlfriend.
