Former child evangelist Marjoe Gortner gave up a profitable career in that       field to star in films that were favorites of neither the critics nor the        movie-going public. Movies like this one. Marjoe is an everyman who gets mixed   up in a dangerous drug-smuggling scheme in Hawaii. In an attempt to appeal to  the '70s drug culture, the movie was played as a double-feature with Cheech    and Chong's Up in Smoke in some theaters.
