Fellini's 8 1/2 might be the most obvious reference point in Peter         Greenaway's audacious feature, but, as you might expect from this                uncompromising director, this is far from a simple homage. Greenaway addresses   the nature of men directing women and male sexual fantasies in general as he   presents a visually complex story of a wealthy man and his son who decide to   create their own harem.
