A champion, bisexual bicyclist misses a qualifying race time by two seconds      and loses her place on the team. While trying to overcome her disappointment,    she befriends a grumpy, Italian bike shop owner who teaches her that there is    more to victory than crossing the finish line first. As she works to overcome  the prejudice of her male co-workers at a courier service, she also trains to  win the company's employee race.
