This funny, highly sexual road film was a great critical and popular success. Alfonso Cuaron fully indulges the bawdy, youthful humor and frank sex scenes while subtly commenting on modern Mexico's economic and social barriers. Gael Garcia Bernal (Amores Perros) and Diego Luna (Before Night Falls) play two sex-obsessed teenagers who convince the beautiful wife (Maribel Verdu of Goya in Bordeaux) of Luna's cousin to join them on a getaway to the beach.
