Route One USA, an epic documentary from American expatriate Robert Kramer, is a chronicle of his journey from the beginning of Route One in Maine to its end in Florida. Along the way, this somewhat somber film addresses varied topics relating to American culture. A running theme is the American sense of rebellion, whether that be the rebellion of the colonists against Great Britain, the secession of the Confederacy from the Union, or even a teenager from parent.
