This elegant version of Verdi's classic opera distinguishes itself through its   use of vivid historical scenery. Josep Mestres Cabanes's extraordinary           paintings were removed from storage and painstakingly restored for this          production, which was mounted in Barcelona's stunning opera house, the Liceu.  The cast includes Daniela Dessi, Fabio Armilato, Roberto Scandiuzzi, and Juan  Pons.
