It's hard to recognize her beneath her ratty clothes and sooty face, but         that's Lucille Ball playing the part of an elderly bag lady in this              socially-conscious drama from director George Schaefer. Daphne Zuniga plays      the idealistic social worker who attempts to persuade the homeless Florabelle  (Ball) to trade in her "Stone Pillow" for a warm bed.
