Set in 1953 New Zealand, this superlative family film tells of a 13-year-old     girl (Sally Andrews) who can hardly believe her good fortune when she learns     that her namesake, Queen Elizabeth II, is planning to visit her hometown.        Young Elizabeth Wakefield's feelings grow conflicted, however, when a local    gardening club leader tries to reroute the royal's itinerary and a Maori woman protests the legacy of British colonialism.
