The question is, are the four best galpals played by Jennifer Aniston,           Catherine Keener, Frances McDormand, and Joan Cusack simply friends who have     money, or is each one friends with money itself? Both are equally plausible in   this bittersweet movie, which deals with the onset of early middle-age and     issues of class. The women dine, shop, have breakdowns, and repeat. What's     most surprising is how funny the movie can be, thanks to Nicole Holofcener's   (Lovely and Amazing) script and direction.
