The story begins in a prosperous land where people are happy and content. This   comes to an end when a new governor is installed, bringing troops under the      command of Don Rodrigo, a cruel tyrant. He forces the citizens to pay such       heavy taxes that in a short time, all of them are reduced to abject poverty.   The time is ripe for a hero, a man who will bring justice to the land and      challenge the evil Don Rodrigo.
