Inspired by a true story, this French Canadian film from writer-director Denis   Langlois (Danny in the Sky) begins when a young man (Dusan Dukic) is       beaten, stripped, and left for dead in Montreal. When he awakes, he is taken     in by police, handed over to a psychiatric ward, and diagnosed with amnesia.   There, he is able to piece together two details of his mysterious life--his    name is James Brighton, and he is gay.
