From Palestinian filmmaker Rashid Masharawi comes this fatalistic comedy about an unemployed judge (Mohammed Bakri) who has been working as a taxi driver in the corrupt and crumbling West Bank. On the occasion of his daughter's birthday, his wife requests he bring home a cake after his workday is done. However, this day, like all others in Ramallah, is filled with unwelcome surprises.
