Writer-director Amos Kollek and actress Anna Thomson continue their rewarding collaboration, following much praise for their films Sue and Fiona. Thomson stars as an overworked waitress at a Manhattan coffee shop involved with an irresponsible cab driver (Jamie Harris). Meanwhile one of her regular customers, Paul (Robert Modica), begins dating a widow (Louise Lasser) with personality to spare.
