In a small Polish village during the 1980s, the Koledowie family lives a happy, quiet life. Mrs. Koledowie enjoys a prominent standing in her community, while her husband breeds ducks and grows flowers in their greenhouse. One day, Mrs. Koledowie discovers that her daughter is pregnant, which will not only cause a scandal but will force her to lose prominence in the community. She devises a devilish scheme to get her and her family out of this social jam. A strong cast including veteran actors Krzysztof Kowalewski (Calls Controlled) and Bozena Dykiel (The Decalogue) highlights this engaging domestic comedy. In Polish with English subtitles.
