The hilarious adventures of hapless Private Franek Dolas, a Polish soldier during WWII who misses his train stop and finds himself in Germany. In this episode, he is hiding on a ship that gets attacked by an enemy submarine. When Dolas is eventually rescued by the French, he's forced into the Foreign Legion and taken to Syria.
