Description

A smart, darkly comic adaptation of Jane Smiley's novella, The Age of Grief, that follows the troubled marriage between two dentists, sharply played by Campbell Scott (Rodger Dodger) and Hope Davis (American Splendor), who share a dental practice and office space. When Dave (Scott) begins to suspect his wife Dana (Davis) of infidelity, his anxiety and imagination lead to manifestations of bizarre behavior towards her, their kids and co-workers. Also stars Denis Leary as an abrasive, dissatisfied patient.
